1. What we collect

In the app, we collect:

• Your phone number, used to verify your identity via a one-time code.
• Listing details and photos you choose to post.
• Messages sent through the app's buyer/seller chat.
• Location, only when you choose to share it, to confirm a private pickup point for delivery estimates. Your exact location is never shown publicly on a listing.
• Transaction and payment records needed to process orders and escrow.

On this website, we collect anonymous analytics (page visits, which listings are viewed) to understand how the site is used. See the cookie notice shown on your first visit.

2. What we don't do

We don't store your card or mobile money PIN. Payments are processed by Paystack, our payment provider — Kɔ Circle never sees your full payment credentials.

3. How we use your information

• To verify your identity and secure your account.
• To process payments, hold funds in escrow, and release payouts.
• To show your listings to buyers and connect you with sellers.
• To investigate disputes and trust & safety reports.
• To send order updates and, where you've opted in, product notifications.

4. Who can see what

Your phone number is never shown publicly to other users. A listing shows your display name, general location (region/city), and seller rating — not your exact address or full phone number.

5. Data retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, as needed for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.

6. Your choices

You can request account deletion from within the app. Some transaction records may be retained where required by law even after account deletion.
