How escrow protects you
When you pay for an item through Kɔ Circle, your payment isn't sent straight to the seller. It's held in escrow until you confirm the item has arrived as described. Only then is the seller paid.
If something goes wrong
If an item doesn't arrive, isn't as described, or a seller becomes unresponsive, you can raise a dispute from within the order in the app. Our team reviews the order details and any messages exchanged before deciding whether to release payment to the seller or refund you.
What this doesn't cover
- Deals arranged or paid for outside the app — escrow only protects in-app payments.
- Buyer's remorse on an item that matches its listing description.
- Delays caused by a delivery method you and the seller agreed to outside the platform.
Verified sellers
Some listings show a verified badge, meaning the seller has completed additional identity verification. This is an extra signal of trust, not a separate guarantee — escrow protection applies to every in-app payment regardless of a seller's verification status.
